Villa L’Aia has been owned through the centuries by the Count Fumi Cambi Gado family and has recently been restored authentically by a descendant, an art historian. This picturesque villa is historically in keeping with its charming Tuscan farm roots. Surrounded by vineyards, olive and cypress trees, the villa is very close to Siena and served as a medieval outpost. The villa divides into two living spaces, one that can host up to 6 people, and the other for 4 people.
Villa L’Aia offers guests a truly authentic Tuscan environment with many important antiques and medieval furnishings. Lovely living room with beamed vaulted ceiling and fireplace. Covered loggia for outdoor dining. Country kitchen. 2 double-bedded rooms; 1 twin-bedded room. 2 bathrooms, one with jacuzzi tub and one with shower. There is an additional apartment which is never rented separately. The apartment features a charming dining room, basic kitchen, 1 double-bedded room, 1 twin-bedded room, and 1 bathroom with tub.
Set on a hillside just 2.5 kms from historic Siena, yet retaining a rural feeling. At 500 meters is a bus stop to the center of Siena. Centrally located to visit all of Tuscany. 1 hour to Florence. 3 hours to Rome.
